Sometimes, the women had sex with clients at other locations. The documents said men paid to have sex with one of the women in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News and elsewhere. Caldwell ordered the women who were having sex with the clients to call him "dad," documents said. He also referred to the sexual liaisons as "plucks. Appointments ranged from minute "quick visits" to one or two sessions. Caldwell provided the women with food, clothing and drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
He would often give the women drugs before and afterward β as a reward. The drugs also were meant to keep the women up into the early hours of the morning.
